Have only had Life Shield for about a month, but installation was quick and painless. I like the key pad and key chain features..just wish the key pad was mountable on the wall without the need for an electrical outlet. The employees I have dealt with have been extremely helpful and professional. So far so good.

The sensors do not stick to the door frame well - meaning that they fall off and set off alarm. The only alternative is to screw them to door frame - something that is not desirable in a 170 year old house. When we contacted the company, they offered to come and re-install for $150 charge. Also, before signing up for this service, read contract carefully! My wife thought she was signing on for two years but found out that it was for 5 years. THey immediately threatened to pursue us legally for payment of all months when we inquired about terminating contract because of dissatisfaction with service. They want the money and do not care if you are getting good service. I would choose another system - this one is just not high quality and certainly not customer service friendly.
